John Barrow und James Dinwiddie nehmen daran teil. Louis Antoine de Poirot ist Dolmetscher. George Staunton ist sein Sekretär. Charles Henry Petitpierre nimmt daran teil. . Seine Aufgabe war, die Geschenke der Mission an den Kaiser, Uhren, Automate, astronomische und physikalische Instrumente, zu installieren. Ein Freundschafts- und Handelsvertrag scheitert aufgrund zahlreicher Missverständnissen. |
