现当代资产阶级文学评价的几个问题
He frequently mentioned Jean-Paul Sartre. He took him as an example and gave positive comments on the progressive trends of his thoughts from the aspects of his theory, literary creation and social activities.
2 1980 Notiz : "Tod des berühmten französischen Schriftstellers Jean-Paul Sartre". In : Ren min ri bao ; April 17 (1980).
3 1980 Shi, Kangqiang. Sate de cun zai zhu yi shi yi [ID D24277].
Er schreibt : “The 'freedom' mentioned by Jean-Paul Sartre was not in political, ethical or social sense. He did not mean that man can do whatever he wants. The actual meaning of freedom is that in every situation, man should make his decision according to his own judgment and no principle should be adopted to guide his judgment. What Sartre meant by 'free choice' is that life has no transcendental meaning, and it requires a meaning endowed by human being's action through free choice. There are no such men as born heroes or cowards. They are the results of their own choice.”
4 1980 Liu, Mingjiu. Gei Sate yi li shi di wei [ID D24278].
Liu offered full affirmation to Jean-Paul Sartre as a philosopher, a writer, a literary critic, a thinker and a social activist. "It takes more pain to point out the acceptable part and the rational core of Sartre's philosophical ideas than to refute him thoroughly, yet to do so is the responsibility of the academe of a large socialist country."
5 1981 Sate yan jiu. Liu Mingjiu bian xuan [ID D12359].
The publication not only offered the Chinese academe the most complete and comprehensive material for further research, but provided multi-dimensional approach for the intellectuals as well as general public to know, to understand and to grow intimate with Jean-Paul Sartre. The concept of 'freedom' and 'free choice' which is the essence of Sartre's existentialist philosophy is prone to misunderstanding.
6 1981 Feng, Hanjin. Dang dai Faguo wen xue liu pai pi she [ID D24279].
Feng conducted a thorough study on the evolution of existentialism, on the ideological trends of Jean-Paul Sartre, on the basic principles of existentialism and on Sartre's theories of methods and techniques of novel-writing. Feng managed to give a fairly objective comment on Sartre and existentialism by pointing out both their active factors and passive factors.
7 1984 Feng, Hanjin. Ping Sate de cun zai zhu yi wen xue [ID D24280]. [Über Jean-Paul Sartre].
Er schreibt : "The existentialist literature is bound to have an abnormal and negative image, for its ideological philosophical base is incompatible to the objective world and human society, the existentialism greatly blows up some sides of the reality of human being in the capitalist society while covering up some others and regards this as the permanent reality of humankind. This is the anti-scientific and anti-realistic feature of existentialist way of thinking."
