曹禺和剧作家谈读书和写作剧本
Cao Yu schreibt : "Shakespeare's plays are so great and profound that they are as miraculous as the universe. I once learned some techniques from Ibsen, yet I learned more from Shakespeare. His works exhibit the richness and variation of humanity, exquisite structure, beautiful poetic flavor, humanistic enthusiasm, and a fertile imagination. No genius can bear comparison with him. The most important technique of Shakespeare that we should learn is his brilliant characterization."
