Amadeus William Grabau ist China Foundation Research Professor of Paleontology der Beijing-Universität und Chef Paläontologe des Chinese Geological Survey. Er organisiert die erste Gruppe professioneller Geologen und Paläontologen und gründet Gesellschaften. Er lässt amerikanische und europäische Geologen nach China kommen und chinesische Studenten in Amerika studieren.
